8 [a]And whoever possessed precious stones gave them to the treasury of the house of Yahweh, [b]in the care of (A)Jehiel the Gershonite. 9 Then the people were glad because they had offered so willingly, for they made their freewill offering to Yahweh (B)with a whole heart, and King David also was exceedingly glad.

10 So David blessed Yahweh in the sight of all the assembly; and David said, “Blessed are You, O Yahweh, the God of Israel our father, from everlasting to everlasting.
